This Saturday, join the next NASA SpaceApps Challenge 2018 hackathon in
Stuttgart[0].

For the fifth time your team of engineers, hackers, makers and artists will
solve global problems during the biggest hackathon event on this planet
(20. & 21. October 2018) and you have the possibility to join!

During the last space apps, the Stuttgart teams were regularly among the
final 25 projects out of 900 projects in various categories. This year’s
open-source topics NASA selected challenges all about “Earth and Space”.

Please register for Stuttgart today[0] to be part of this great space
community, find your challenge to tackle, win awesome prizes and maybe
start your space start-up.

Der regelmäßige Wochenend-Workshop für die IT-interessierten Mitglieder im Verein. Primär geht es um die Weiterentwicklung unserer Homepage und der zugehörigen IT-Plattform, aber dir bringt es

  • den Austausch mit anderen coolen Nerds (Computer-Interessierten ;-)),
  • die Möglichkeit eine große IT-Infrastruktur mitzugestalten
  • und neue Programmiersprachen & Techniken zu entdecken,
  • und natürlich ein Wochenende voller Spaß!

Falls du also ein Händchen für Computer hast oder eines bekommen willst, bist du herzlich eingeladen, dich mit deinen Fähigkeiten in den Verein einzubringen. Herzlich willkommen und dringend gesucht sind aber auch Nicht-Programmierer und Computer-Laien. Denn neben der IT geht es am Wochenende auch um die allgemeine Vereins-Organisation. Falls ihr also mal hinter die Kulissen schauen wollt und den Verein aus einer anderen Perspektive näher kennen lernen wollt, traut euch ruhig, die “Nerds” zu besuchen.

Diesmal trifft sich die Gruppe The Things Network Region Stuttgart mal wieder im Shackspace, um neben allgemeinen Updates zu Gateways, Nodes und Anwendungsfällen im LoRaWAN Netzwerk auch Gelegenheit für praktische Arbeiten an Hard- und Software zu haben.

Unter anderem steht dieses Mal die Inbetriebnahme von kleinen LoRa-Sensortiles auf dem Programm.

Here is the invitation to Meeting 13: Night of Demos. This meeting will be organized a little bit differently then normal. This meeting will be organized in a open forum format, meaning that ASRG-S members will give short 10 min demonstrations of their favorite tool (HW or SW) regarding automotive security. To make sure we don’t have 4 demonstrations of the same tool, please add your topic for demonstration in the discussion. As always, we will discuss some of the Automotive Security topics in the news, give an update concerning ASRG-S and share topics in the group. Make sure to bring your tool, laptop and be prepared to get inspired!
